Terms of Use

Last updated: March 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of the mobile app Mala Counter (the "App") published by Sorable Sdn Bhd ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to these terms.

The App

Mala Counter is a personal practice counter for mantra, prayer, and meditation. It is provided "as is" and "as available." We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Your device and data

Your practice data—counts, sessions, streaks, and preferences—is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups and keeping your device secure. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, app deletion, or operating system changes.

Subscriptions and purchases

Premium features are available through in-app subscriptions processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are governed by the applicable store's terms. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements. Refund requests should be directed to the store where the purchase was made.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription or entitlement checks.
  • Redistribute or resell the App or any of its components outside of the official stores.

Intellectual property

All rights in the App—including code, design, icons, and content—belong to Sorable Sdn Bhd or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your expectations or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or interruption of practice tracking.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any features if these terms are violated.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
