Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 28, 2026

This policy describes how Sorable Sdn Bhd (“we”, “us”) treats information when you use the mobile app Mala Counter (the “App”), bundle identifier com.sorable.malacounter.

Summary

Mala Counter is built for focused practice. Your mantra counts, session history, preferences, and streaks are stored on your device by default. We do not operate a login or cloud sync service in the App as described here. If you subscribe to Premium, RevenueCat, Apple, and/or Google process purchase-related data under their own policies.

Information the App processes

Practice data (local). Information you generate in the App—such as counts, rounds, practice types, daily targets, and calendar summaries—is saved locally on your phone or tablet using on-device storage (for example via the operating system and app sandbox). We do not receive this content on our own servers as part of providing the App.

Subscriptions and purchases. If you buy or restore a subscription, RevenueCat helps validate entitlements and may process identifiers and transaction-related data needed to operate in-app purchases. Payments are completed through Apple App Store or Google Play, which receive payment information according to their terms.

Diagnostics you choose to share. If you send us feedback or crash details outside the App (for example by email), we use that information only to respond and improve the product.

How we use information

  • To provide core App features on your device.
  • To unlock Premium features when a valid subscription is detected via RevenueCat.
  • To comply with law or respond to lawful requests, if applicable.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Subscription infrastructure relies on service providers: RevenueCat (entitlements and purchase tooling) and Apple or Google (payment and store accounts). Those parties process data under their own privacy policies and agreements with you.

Retention

Practice data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear app data in your device settings, unless you use a future feature that explicitly syncs elsewhere. RevenueCat, Apple, and Google retain purchase records as described in their policies.

Security

We design the App to keep sensitive practice data in the device sandbox. No security practice is perfect; protect your device with a passcode or biometrics and keep your operating system updated.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data held by us or by store platforms. For data stored only on your device, you can delete the App or reset app storage. For subscription or receipt data held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat, use the tools and privacy settings those services provide.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe we have inadvertently collected a child’s personal information, contact us using the details below.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
